Art Lounge Arlington Hosts Yanni's Art Exhibit

A gathering to celebrate the life and work of the late Yannis Pagounis, "Ioannis the Painter," took place on Saturday May 4, 2019. Friends and family came to see Yanni's work, some for the very first time. A spirit of melancholy cheer was in the air and guests were encouraged to look through his pieces, both those on display that afternoon as well as the inventory pictured on our website, to select one to take home and always remember Yannis. Yanni's family members are now moving Yanni's body of work to more suitable temporary storage space until a permanent situation can be found. Meanwhile, more exhibits of Yanni''s art is in the plans.
